This Refund / Rejection Policy explains how NairaCardX handles rejected gift cards, failed verification, completed trades, payment issues, and transaction disputes.
By using NairaCardX, you agree to this Refund / Rejection Policy, our Trading Policy, Terms & Conditions, and Privacy Policy.
1. About This Policy
NairaCardX is an independent gift card exchange service. We help users sell supported gift cards and receive payment in Nigerian Naira after successful verification.
Because gift card trading involves digital codes and verification risk, not every submitted card will be accepted.
Payment is only made after a gift card has been successfully verified and approved by NairaCardX.
2. No Payment Before Verification
NairaCardX does not make payment before gift card verification is completed.
Submitting a gift card, card image, code, receipt, or card information does not automatically mean that the card will be accepted or paid for.
A trade is only approved when:
- The card details are received
- The current rate is confirmed
- The card passes verification
- The transaction is approved by NairaCardX
If the card does not pass verification, NairaCardX may reject the trade and no payment will be made.
3. Reasons a Gift Card May Be Rejected
NairaCardX may reject a gift card if the card is:
- Already used or redeemed
- Invalid or inactive
- Fake, duplicated, or manipulated
- Stolen or unauthorized
- Submitted with fake or edited receipts
- Linked to scams, fraud, chargebacks, or suspicious activity
- Different from the information provided by the customer
- Unclear in image quality, code, value, country, or origin
- Not supported by NairaCardX at the time of trade
- Unable to pass verification
- High-risk based on our internal review
NairaCardX reserves the right to reject any card that does not meet our verification and safety standards.
4. Rejected Card Policy
If a card is rejected before a trade is completed:
- No payment will be made
- NairaCardX may explain the reason for rejection where possible
- The customer may be asked to provide clearer information or additional proof
- NairaCardX is not responsible for any loss caused by submitting an invalid, used, fake, stolen, or suspicious card
If a card is found to be suspicious, NairaCardX may refuse further service to the user.
5. Refund Policy for Completed Trades
A trade is considered completed when:
- The gift card has passed verification
- The customer has accepted the rate
- Payment has been sent to the customer’s provided payment details
Once a trade is completed and payment has been sent, the transaction is generally final and cannot be refunded, reversed, or cancelled.
Refunds or reversals may only be considered if required by law or approved by NairaCardX in writing after internal review.
6. Incorrect Payment Details
Customers are responsible for providing accurate payment information.
NairaCardX is not responsible for delays, failed payments, or losses caused by:
- Wrong bank account number
- Wrong bank name
- Wrong account holder name
- Incorrect payment method details
- Typing errors provided by the customer
- Bank or payment provider issues
- Network delays or third-party service problems
If payment is sent to the details provided by the customer, the trade may be considered completed.
7. Payment Delays
Payment is usually processed after successful card verification. However, payment time may vary depending on:
- Bank network delays
- Payment provider issues
- High transaction volume
- Additional review requirements
- Incorrect or incomplete customer information
- Public holidays or service disruptions
If there is a delay, customers should contact NairaCardX through the official WhatsApp or email channel.
8. Failed Verification
If a card fails verification, NairaCardX is not required to make payment.
Possible failed verification cases include:
- Card balance cannot be confirmed
- Card has already been redeemed
- Card details are incorrect
- Card region does not match the submitted information
- Receipt does not match the card
- Card is flagged as suspicious
- The card is not accepted by our trading system
Failed verification does not create a refund obligation because no completed trade has taken place.
9. Suspicious or Fraudulent Cards
NairaCardX does not accept gift cards connected to fraud, scams, theft, fake receipts, unauthorized access, chargebacks, or illegal activity.
If we believe a card or transaction is suspicious, we may:
- Reject the trade
- Stop communication
- Block the user from future trades
- Keep transaction records for safety and dispute review
- Report suspicious activity where required by law
Customers must only submit gift cards they legally own or are authorized to sell.
10. Dispute Review
If a customer believes there is an issue with a rejected card, failed verification, or payment, they may contact NairaCardX for review.
During a dispute review, NairaCardX may check:
- WhatsApp chat history
- Submitted card details
- Card image or code
- Receipt or proof of purchase
- Rate confirmation
- Verification result
- Payment record
- Bank or payment provider confirmation
NairaCardX will make a reasonable effort to review disputes fairly, but we do not guarantee that a rejected card will be accepted after review.
11. Cards Sent Without Rate Confirmation
Customers should not send full gift card details before confirming the rate and trading instructions with NairaCardX.
If a customer sends card details without proper rate confirmation, NairaCardX may still review the card, but we are not required to accept the trade or pay a rate that was not confirmed.
Always confirm the current rate before continuing with a trade.
12. Unsupported Cards
NairaCardX mainly supports popular gift cards such as:
- Apple Gift Card
- Steam Gift Card
- Vanilla Gift Card
- Razer Gold Gift Card
- Xbox Gift Card
Other gift cards may be accepted depending on availability, demand, region, and verification result.
If a card is not supported at the time of submission, NairaCardX may reject the card and no payment will be made.
